Welcome to Neptune!!
Your career in Neptune starts here. Knowing the Rules of Neptune will help to learn how it works, and why it works so well.
“Rules” may sound like an annoying load, but truth is, when well crafted and maintained, they can help to maintain control and order.
They are meant to be simple, easy to follow, and not stressing. They are very straight to the point, which is better than having many small rules instead.
In this place, there are two kinds of Rules. There are the Neptunian rules, and the rules of the site --the provider. Since I agreed to their rules, it’s my duty to follow their TOS (Terms Of Service), and make sure my members follow them as well.
In a pinch, the TOS is mostly what the site can’t host, for example: copyrighted material, piracy, hacking, obscene content, terrorist material, advertisements of any sort, etc.
The link for the TOS is here. http://www.freeforums.org/tos.php. You should take a peak.

THE FIVE ELEMENTS OF NEPTUNE
Element 1:
One ruler .

…to rule them all. Neptune has a single ruler: Agelu ColdShadow, --self-proclaimed King of Neptune--, and the moment you successfully join Neptune you accept me as your Leader. Of course, the only way to set free is to leave Neptune.
I know that it sounds harsh and egoistical. Nevertheless, truth is, I feel that to be a good Leader –myself; not speaking for others-- I need to be confident that I have full control of the situation.
I do what I do for reasons, not just led by personal feelings or personal affairs. Naturally, I make mistakes sometimes, but I ask for apologies when it’s the case.
I can do whatever I wish, whatever it looks good in my eyes, whatever I please whenever I want, anytime, anywhere; and while you are part of Neptune, you are bound by it.
Never forget this: Neptune and I demand Loyalty. You are supposed to be bound to a single Leader, and a single group: Neptune. If you feel you are unable to maintain such Loyalty, you do not belong here. You must leave.
But if you can, you can stay, and be part of this great community.
Element 2:
Netiquette .
Netiquette is a catch-all term for the conventions of politeness and respect in the Internet.
It may sound like something simple. However, it may not be so. Even while everyone of us is different, we should try to understand every member in good faith. Problems between members are encouraged to patch up peacefully. Members should always be courteous to other Neptunians and outsiders. Remember, I have let everyone here personally. There is no “quick and dirty” membership.
Try hard to be nice and friendly. It pays off.
Element 3:
Follow the Structure and their orders .

The Structure is the organization that exists in Neptune. They are those who lead the site, who have been granted powers to act, or take decisions. Anyone who thinks that something is wrong about the structure, or someone in specific, should get closer and talk about it with the members in charge. Complaining in the open will only be more problematic.
As part of Neptune, you are expected to follow whatever instruction is issued. Try your best to follow those. Do as you are instructed. Don’t do what you are told to not to do. Shouldn’t be hard.
Element 4:
Craft youself .

Every member is different, and special in his or her own way. I don’t want to rule clones. Show us how you are, how you think, and most importantly, share with us!! Naturally, Neptune expects some activity from you, but if you can’t be very active, be sure to inform us of such. Don’t try different in a bad way, though. You are free to use your avatar and signatures to show yourself. Just don’t show someone who you aren’t. Do what you do in good faith.
Element 5:
Know how to post .
If you are new to Internet Forums, or if you aren’t quite sure of how to write good messages, take your time to learn here.
◊ If an intended post will not make a positive contribution to the newsgroup and be of interest to several readers, it should not be posted.
◊ Contributors are asked to stay on-topic.
◊ Before creating a new topic thread, members are advised to search to see if a similar topic already exists.
◊ Since the forum is categorized, strive to post in the correct section.
◊ Contributors should avoid double posting and repeating themselves over the forums.
◊ Posters are asked to re-read and edit their posting carefully before posting. The spelling, grammar, and capitalization should be checked.
◊ Absolutely avoid making quick, insightful messages with the purpose of increase your post count.
◊ Don’t quote posts that are very long.
◊ Don’t be afraid about re-writing entire paragraphs.
◊ To convey emphasis in a less drastic manner, one may use the *bold*, /italics/, and _underline_ effects. Use the formatting at your disposal to make your post more interesting.
◊ Typing in all capital letters usually denotes screaming or yelling, and this should be avoided.
◊ When posting humorous or sarcastic comments, it is conventional to append emoticons; but it is suggested that emoticons should not be overused.
◊ Do not use “10 char” or similar to add characters to your message. It’s insightful and dumb.
◊ Personal messages –PMs -to one or two individuals should be sent via private e-mail, not posted to the forum.
◊ It is important to consider the privacy of other participants, before sending them a private message. It is more polite to publicly request a private conversation first, for example.
◊ When making a technical inquiry, one should include as much technical information as possible, especially in the subject line.
◊ Before asking a question, a member should read the messages already in the group and read the group's FAQ if it has one.

Posters should be proud of their postings, but should avoid posting just to see their name in pixels.
Those are the Five Elements of Neptune
