And when we say "appendix", we mean that little thing that is in our bodies --that is, for those that still have it-- that has been regarded as USELESS for generations.

Seems that scientists have finally found out that it IS useful after all.

Interesting read. Not for everyone though. Many will not want to bother reading this interesant article. It is a important breakthrough in medicine though.

I hope mine doesn't explode.. as far as I know, i hardly fall ill.
Doesn't seen that useful since the immune system already has defense against bacteria.

Well it is somehow an breakthrough, but well, i didn't get that very well.

The article says that in the actual society, where a lot of people live together, is not so necessary. But in places where people live in less congregated places, the organ proves to be useful.
