instead of having last topic it would be cool to have a shoutbox (a box that shows chat messages kind of like a MSN but every1 will see it) makes life easier then to just spam and make a topic like "hey pmcb check ur inbox" xD make life simple...


also a donation page to help with server cost/upgrades/clan events/ and so on...

Come on fatal... you honestly think that a Internet Portal --let's remember that Website + Forums = Internet Portal-- as advanced and featured as this one would be FREE?

Sure, the basic plan is free... hence the name of the host freeforums. But think of the many hacks that we have installed, the really high capacity for PMs, attachments, extras, upgrades, and much more.... And of course I have other upgrades in mind to make it better.

There is a certain cost for upgrades, and then there is a monthly fee... however the latter is not much at all.

As for Shoutbox... well as anyone could imagine and expect I already had thought on it. I've also found the hacks I would need to install Shoutbox. I've also found other non-hax alternatives for installing it.

However this is one of the many many things I thought in before creating the site. The good of it would be, of course, to make much easier to talk simple things, and it would help the lazy members to actually write something.

But in the flip side there are things that have convinced me to NOT do it. First, since it is a easy way to post, I WELL KNOW that if right now FEW members are active in our Portal creating posts with decent content, there will be EVEN LESS with a Shoutbox. Simply but, MANY members wouln't bother to post things; rather they would just "Shout" anything and everything they want to say. That would lead to EVEN LOWER levels of activity.

So what would be the difference between posting in CP and in the Portal again? I see none.

But I DO have a good idea to implement. Something that is very popular in forums. ATM it is classified info, but I hope to implement it soon.
