Enjoy. (Though some pics have a bad quality) :)
This was only part of the whole festival. Because I only stayed there for around 6 hours, I missed the concert and such. Even so, I got to listen in on some great Anime screenings. (Which we were not allowed to videotape/photo)
I am definitely planning to go to the 2009 one, with proper equipment and planning!
Well, I wonder why I took a picture of this..*cough* Evidence *cough*
The line doesn't seem too long...
... Crap. (Actually, the line went through pretty quickly, around 10 min. of waiting tops)
First thing I see walking in, this guy. I swear, this bear had a talent in cursing. (Noticed later that it is an anime..)
Ah, proudly representing Lucky Star~
And Haruhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~
~iiiiiii *cough* *gasp* ... Yea.
FF doesn't lose its popularity in an anime festival! Saw some great Cloud cosplays.
Face it, I don't like this anime. So I didn't even bother to take a re-shot, knowing it came out blurry.
So.. many... dolls!
Mario still doesn't lose his thunder though!
Awesome cosplay! SW fans rejoice~ Thanks to the people for striking a pose for the camera!
Adorable Kon backpack. *Gasps at the price tag*
While having lunch, listened to this guy. "Uncle Yo" is an otaku comedian, and very good at his job I had to admit. Oh, the friendship cube gag.. loved it.
After finishing lunch, found this giant masterpiece, drawn on the floor by a man in several hours! Very elegant.
The Lion doll from Fate/Stay Night. Couldn't buy it because it was gone when I returned..
Now that is what I call fanservice! It would have been lovely to buy one, but alas, I'm only 16. =/
Vash the Stampede's cosplay outfit in the anime, Trigun. I believe someone bought it later on, and I saw em on an actual body. Too far away to take a pic though~
Anime swords, what's not to like?
... Epic. Actually got to see the blaster and all, very cool cosplay, again.
As much as I dislike Naruto.. The cosplay was m'kay.
Death Note Character.. Very realistic :)
I have no idea who they're cosplaying as, but heck, not bad.
Something came up, so had to return 5 hours ahead of our regular schedule. Missed the other screenings, (PG-18+ ones too! <- *smack*) not to mention the concert. But that is not all.. (Very disappointed, you'll see why)
It looked lonely after everything had sold out, so I brought it home. P.S. - Yes, that's my bedroom.
What all the anime people eat! I'm eating them as you read this.
Sample Comic & 3x lengthy posters! Much love to Haruhi.
Still, cannot forget Lucky Star and this great purchase... It is hanging on my wall as I type this :)
A very thick, and free comic book, the backside of it. I'll read it later~
Yen+, a comic book. The front side, accomodated by a Haruhi Armband on the left! Soul Eater.. maybe I'll watch that.
The backside of that Haruhi Armband shown before... When you slap it down on your arm/wrist...
Voila! It's an instant armband! Haruhiism ftw.
A new anime, previews shown in a large booth. Freebie poster, now in a bad condition because of the drizzling rains.
Some goodie bag stuff! Trading Cards, free anime downloads, bookmarks... yey!
Proooof. A festive pin, a "card" allowing entrance, and a booklet. I'll keep 'em as keepsakes.
Chobits. Nicely done, and bought by me. :)
Chiiii~ I pushed a narutard out of the way to get this; was the last print they had on stock. If I had stayed for a little bit longer.. Could have got it signed by teh actual seiyuu.. Beside that QQ moment, nice print nevertheless.
Last but not least... Saving the best for last... A huge Haruhi Wallscroll! Last one claimed by meh! Totally made up for not getting a signature from Chii's seiyuu. Covers probably like.. half of my bed; that large.
Well, could have taken more pictures, but I'm happy with what I got out from my first visit to an anime convention. Wewt.
P.S. - Maybe I'll mail that Chii print as a B-Day gift to Belgium for Lowie if I get the chance? lololololol.
[spoil]You pay the shipping cost for oversea countries though. (I'm serious)[/spoil]
