Enjoy. (Though some pics have a bad quality) :)
This was only part of the whole festival. Because I only stayed there for around 6 hours, I missed the concert and such. Even so, I got to listen in on some great Anime screenings. (Which we were not allowed to videotape/photo)
I am definitely planning to go to the 2009 one, with proper equipment and planning!

Image
Image
Well, I wonder why I took a picture of this..*cough* Evidence *cough*

Image
The line doesn't seem too long...

Image
... Crap. (Actually, the line went through pretty quickly, around 10 min. of waiting tops)

Image
First thing I see walking in, this guy. I swear, this bear had a talent in cursing. (Noticed later that it is an anime..)

Image
Ah, proudly representing Lucky Star~

Image
And Haruhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~

Image
~iiiiiii *cough* *gasp* ... Yea.

Image
FF doesn't lose its popularity in an anime festival! Saw some great Cloud cosplays.

Image
Face it, I don't like this anime. So I didn't even bother to take a re-shot, knowing it came out blurry.

Image
So.. many... dolls!

Image
Mario still doesn't lose his thunder though!

Image
Awesome cosplay! SW fans rejoice~ Thanks to the people for striking a pose for the camera!

Image
Adorable Kon backpack. *Gasps at the price tag*

Image
While having lunch, listened to this guy. "Uncle Yo" is an otaku comedian, and very good at his job I had to admit. Oh, the friendship cube gag.. loved it.

Image
After finishing lunch, found this giant masterpiece, drawn on the floor by a man in several hours! Very elegant.

Image
The Lion doll from Fate/Stay Night. Couldn't buy it because it was gone when I returned..

Image
Now that is what I call fanservice! It would have been lovely to buy one, but alas, I'm only 16. =/

Image
Vash the Stampede's cosplay outfit in the anime, Trigun. I believe someone bought it later on, and I saw em on an actual body. Too far away to take a pic though~

Image
Anime swords, what's not to like?

Image
... Epic. Actually got to see the blaster and all, very cool cosplay, again.

Image
As much as I dislike Naruto.. The cosplay was m'kay.

Image
Death Note Character.. Very realistic :)

Image
I have no idea who they're cosplaying as, but heck, not bad.

Something came up, so had to return 5 hours ahead of our regular schedule. Missed the other screenings, (PG-18+ ones too! <- *smack*) not to mention the concert. But that is not all.. (Very disappointed, you'll see why)

Image
It looked lonely after everything had sold out, so I brought it home. P.S. - Yes, that's my bedroom.

Image
What all the anime people eat! I'm eating them as you read this.

Image
Sample Comic & 3x lengthy posters! Much love to Haruhi.

Image
Still, cannot forget Lucky Star and this great purchase... It is hanging on my wall as I type this :)

Image
A very thick, and free comic book, the backside of it. I'll read it later~

Image
Yen+, a comic book. The front side, accomodated by a Haruhi Armband on the left! Soul Eater.. maybe I'll watch that.

Image
The backside of that Haruhi Armband shown before... When you slap it down on your arm/wrist...

Image
Voila! It's an instant armband! Haruhiism ftw.

Image
A new anime, previews shown in a large booth. Freebie poster, now in a bad condition because of the drizzling rains.

Image
Some goodie bag stuff! Trading Cards, free anime downloads, bookmarks... yey!

Image
Proooof. A festive pin, a "card" allowing entrance, and a booklet. I'll keep 'em as keepsakes.

Image
Chobits. Nicely done, and bought by me. :)

Image
Chiiii~ I pushed a narutard out of the way to get this; was the last print they had on stock. If I had stayed for a little bit longer.. Could have got it signed by teh actual seiyuu.. Beside that QQ moment, nice print nevertheless.

Last but not least... Saving the best for last... A huge Haruhi Wallscroll! Last one claimed by meh! Totally made up for not getting a signature from Chii's seiyuu. Covers probably like.. half of my bed; that large.
Image

Well, could have taken more pictures, but I'm happy with what I got out from my first visit to an anime convention. Wewt.
P.S. - Maybe I'll mail that Chii print as a B-Day gift to Belgium for Lowie if I get the chance? lololololol.
[spoil]You pay the shipping cost for oversea countries though. (I'm serious)[/spoil]

So why I think you listen

Has no one told you
Your cries are all in vain
And everyone keeps trying to take that all away

Has no one told you
Your cries are all in vain

Lord I can’t disguise
The look inside my eyes
The more I try to look away the more I’m staring

But now I need an answer to my prayers and you’re not there

Okay Okay, you could say. that I'm not out of the woods yet.
Suprisingly I have figured out something very important from Haruhi Suzumiya series also becoming one of the greatest Anime's for me.
What was so suprising from Haruhi Suzumiya?.. I have thought of the same thing some years ago...
I always see life as a boring lot of 'Nothing' ah?
Ah yes but Dreams are the key to fix your boredom. If you cannot make those dreams become... Reality
I live in the Real world where things like that cannot happen.. so..... I have figured my Million Dollar question.

If you want, I can give you a list of all the events taking place for the three days.. After all, I've only been in half a day.. 1/6 of the convention. I've seen only one cosplay of One Piece tbh.. As for Naruto, there was the Xbox 360 game.. Naruto: The Broken Bond, which was being tested by gamers from all over the world. But Naruto didn't really have those large-ass displays like Haruhi or Lucky Star... Some new anime I've found there, and plan to watch or read are:
- Soul Eater
- Bamboo Blade
- The Sword of the Stranger
Oh, and my photos are like only half of the building. On the other side are screening rooms. On Friday, I believe they showed the Naruto Movie: Clash in the Land of Snow, Some Death Note movies... Some screenings were for 18+, (like yaoi, hentai, yuri) Some were interviews of producers and such. As I've said, I have a list if someone wants to see it.. I'll scan them all, at least over 30 pages of stuff planned ._.;;

P.S. - Gratz on the secret rank Elite. 've seen it before tho.

But this is like.. only 1/3 of the fun. As I've mentioned before, if anyone requests, I can put up all the events that takes place in the three-day period via scan.
Oh, and there is a Anime Con coming up in Belgium too.. so you will get your share of fun too :)
